Thick Texas Chili is Done with Wolf Brand Chili

I am a Texas girl, through and through. You can ask my parents to dig through my childhood photos and find me in Rocky Mountain jeans, boots to match and a belt buckle meant for a country princess. I love Texas and everything about it. I always have. And though I was born in Missouri, I proudly wear the scars of crawling here! OK, that is an exaggeration. But what is not an exaggeration is my love for thick, hearty Texas Chili. But who has the time? So I am excited to see NEW Wolf Brand Chili and their thicker, heartier selections that make a warm bowl of chili on a cool Texas night spicy and yehaw good!

Chili is one of those dishes that warms me in and out. The hearty chew of fresh beef coupled with the savory flavors of the sauce are perfect for any mood at any time. But I just don’t have the time most days to create a recipe and let it sit for hours, letting the flavors marry to produce the intense flavor I love. And, though canned chili is always an option, most are thin and more ‘soup’ like than hearty chili.

Wolf Brand Chilis have long been a go to for me. The flavor is amazing and they are always trying to improve their product to give us what we want. Now, they have thicker and heartier chilies for three of their classics: Wolf Brand Chili No Beans, Wolf Brand Chili Mild No Beans, and Wolf Brand Chili Hot No Beans.  I was lucky enough to receive a pack in the mail (enter to WIN the same one below) and, I have to say, I can see the difference!

Throughout the weeks, I have topped my Wolf Brand Chili and it’s new thicker recipe with my favorites. Cottage Cheese – yes, it makes a creamy, tangy contrast to the chili – Greek yogurt and the trifecta; cheese, sour cream and onions. I have sat on my back porch watching the rain drip down, enjoying this hearty dish as I watched my 200 year old pine trees sway in the storms.

The taste is amazing. Spicy for the hot, creamy for the mild and savory for the original. With the new thicker recipe, I feel like I have a real meal too!

Winner Selection: The winners of the Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing by Blog from among all eligible Entries received throughout the Promotion Period using the selection tool indicated on ADayinMotherhood.com. The random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designated representatives, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible Entries received. Winner will be notified by email at the email address provided in the Entry Information after the random drawing. The ARV of the prize represents Sponsor’s good faith determination. That determination is final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the prize turns out to be less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash.
