Adelina from Home Maid Simple received Shape Mags to review. All opinions are her own.

When you’re feeling not so great, and doing the simple things like getting up off the couch makes it worse, it’s nice to have a toy that the kids will play with for hours on ends.

Hours of fun with Shape Mags. ad

That’s exactly what we got with Shape Mags Magnetic Stick’n Stack toy. I was actually quite impressed with how long my kids will spend building different objects with these squares and triangles. Unlike most toys that seem great at first, and then are put away never to see the light of day again – please tell me my kids aren’t the only ones who do this – we have played consistently with the Shape Mags for about a month now.

Kids will love Shape Mags Idea Book! ad

Not only are the magnetics themselves fun and entertaining, but the Idea Book really gets the kids thinking about what they can come up with. For kids who are more analytical and less creative, it gives them a good starting point for building houses, trains, and more.

This month has been a tough one for me. My all day nausea has settled into “I’ll crop up and be 10x worse whenever I feel like it” nausea. So when the kids find me laying on the couch, and still want to be near me, they pull out the Shape Mags and are content for the next 2 hours at least! That is a toy all mothers can get behind!

There are a number of different Shape Mags sets, and the Car Set is definitely a fun addition. Instead of just building with the mags, the kids can act out scenes and create imaginative play with the yellow people and their car. I’m checking out the rest of the sets to add to our Christmas list this year.
