We have all experienced it. The rush in the morning to get the kids up, ready and fed before school. It feels like I am always late, always rushing and never as organized as I would like to think. The weekends are not much better as I am tired from the week of homework, gymnastics and life in general. So easy recipes are a must. Easy recipes that my kids can make with a smile on their face are even better! This is where my Easy Pigs in a Blanket recipe and Johnsonville Sausage comes in! My store was picked clean when I went which I think is always a testament to a product. However, I did find the Johnsonville Original Breakfast Sausage and the Fully Cooked Turkey Sausage too. So I stocked up. One can never have too mush sausage on hand! Along with it I grabbed the jumbo crescent rolls and cheese. Ready to see if my kids could create their own breakfast AND eat it too, I headed home with a hopeful spring in my step.

Sure enough, when I told the children that they were in charge of breakfast on a random weekday and that cold cereal and waffles were off limits, I got some curious looks. When I pulled out the breakfast sausage, the rolls and the cheese, though, they hopped up on the chair ready to go!

It took less than 10 minutes for Sarah and Megan to put together 8 Pigs in a Blanket. All they did was lay out the crescent rolls, add the Fully Cooked Turkey Sausage, then some cheese and roll! While they cooked, the kids continued to get ready for school!

I have to say, I was totally impressed with the flavor of the Johnsonville Fully Cooked Turkey Sausage. It has a great flavor that has a little bite to go with the gooey cheese! The kids loved it, I loved it and it made this recipe that much easier to make. A win – win – win in my book!
