I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Orbit for Kids. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

My kids are getting to that age where they want to chew gum.  I am at that age where I don’t think they need to have sugar in their mouths, possibly affecting their teeth, for an extended amount of time.  So I have been weary of letting them chew gum in the past.  But with the NEW Orbits for Kids Gum, I might change my restrictions just a bit!

Orbit for Kids

I sincerely appreciate a product that let’s my kids practice on their bubble blowing while still protecting my kids teeth. Yes, two of my three still have baby teeth, but as my oldest loses and gets in her permanent teeth, I am amping up oral health for them.

No longer are we brushing to the ABC’s as I taught them, but now they must brush the whole 2 minutes and I time it with their favorite song blaring in the background.  I have a new CD player for the kids and I put in Taylor Swift, KidsBop or some other CD and they have to brush while I count down the 2 minutes on the clock.  So far, so good.

I am also trying to teach them the correct way and value of flossing.  It’s harder with the 4 year old but the 5 and 7 year old test each other to see how many teeth they can get in between.  It is a fun game and I stand watching making sure they do not hurt their gums.  But I like the healthy competition and that they are actually doing it!

Orbit for Kids

It won’t matter if I teach them this stuff, though, if they just indulge in high sugar snacks all day. So I am excited that NEW Orbit for Kids is sugar free.  And my kids claim that the Strawberry Banana flavor is “the best”!

Next time you are in the store, pick up Orbit for Kids and let them chew away knowing that it is better for their teeth and whole mouth health than a lot of the sugar filled gums out there now!  I mean, it has been awarded the ADA Award of Approval so even dentist’s agree this is great
