We love having fun special drinks during the holidays to celebrate. These mocktails mean the whole family can enjoy a fun drink.

10 Mocktails for a family friendly New Years Eve celebration

So here’s a bit of background information for you – I don’t drink. I’ve never had even a sip of alcohol in my life, and I don’t ever plan on having any. But I really love pretty drinks. Growing up on New Years Eve we would always pop open a few bottles of sparkling cider.

I still carry on the sparkling cider tradition, but I also love to try out some fun mocktails. There’s something just need about combining different flavored syrups, fruits, juices, and even herbs.

You can really dress up just about any beverage to make it special. A few simple things anyone can do:

  • Add fruit to the edge of the cup
  • Dress up the glasses with a sugar rim
  • Add fun shaped ice cubes, or fruit filled ice cubes
  • Add an edible flower to float on top

Here you will find 10 mocktails that anyone can enjoy with their whole family. You won’t have to worry about drinking and driving, having a designated driver, or acting like a fool in front of family (all things I hear are possibilities if you drink too much....).

Instead you can focus on having fun, enjoying a delicious drink, and celebrating the new year in style. Enjoy the ‘original’ mocktail with a Shirley Temple recipe from Baking Beauty. Or start to get fancy with any of the following.
