I am SO IN LOVE with this product that I am going to give a reader one! If you have a preschooler through 1st grader, the Little Scholar Tablet with over 150 educational apps from SchoolZone is one you need to have! My girls got this a few weeks ago and it has overtaken my tablets as the one they fight over, which I truly LOVE!

Why do I love them fighting over it? Because every app that is on it – be it videos, songs, e-Books, math games and more – is educational. My Kindergartner is learning everything from FRACTIONS to how to read on this innovative tablet. Seriously, you guys, this thing is awesome!  She has been having issues with the sounds of some letters in class. But after working on the tablet – which she thinks is totally fun and a privilege – she has almost all of her letters down pat!

So here are 5 reasons I think this tablet is better than an adult tablet that we might give our kids.

It is affordable – Right now at ToysRUs.com you can get the Little Scholar tablet ON SALE. Comparing it to another 8″ tablet that runs on the Google Android™ 4.2.2 operating system, this tablet is a fraction of the cost. In addition, instead of searching and paying for educational apps on the tablet, this one comes with over 150 apps that are ALL educational and geared towards the 3-7 year old group! In fact, it has almost $400 worth of FREE content!

It is Safe for Kids – As I said above, this tablet has nothing on it that you would be worried about for kids. My daughter’s love being able to draw on it, read on it, do math games on it and more.  Little Scholar provides lessons based on all of the “core curriculum” subjects for preschoolers, kindergartners, and first graders. It includes math, reading, spelling, logic, creativity, and geography.  I can even use an App management tool to choose the apps, music, and e-books that are active on Little Scholar, so I can tailor the content to fit the learning needs of their children.

It is easy for Kids to Use – Other than charging it and putting the purple bumper on it, my kids have needed little help in using the Little Scholar tablet. They actually help each other if they have a question on a problem or how to use an app. So I find it is promoting working together, which is always important in sibling groups. Even my youngest can use the touch screen to navigate easily between apps.

Easily track your kid’s progress. There is a great app on the tablet that gives you a report card of sorts for your to use to track your child’s progress. It is awesome and tells me everything from which apps they use to the time they spent on them. I can also see how they did on each app and really have a good barometer for what they need more help on.

The Kids think it is for Play only.  My 3rd grader has to get on the computer and do math every night. Though she likes the format, she KNOWS it is homework and resists now that the thrill is gone. This tablet has so many options, games and more that they have no idea they are actually learning too. They see it as just plain fun and literally would be on it all day every day if I let them. I love any tool that promotes learning without making the kids think it is work!

This is one of the best educational tools I have seen in a while. It is a tool that will impress you and your children. Anything that can keep their interest and not kill the pocketbook is a winner in my book! Get your Little Scholar Tablet now and watch your kids grow and learn with a smile!
