One thing I love about my adopted hometown of Houston, TX is that whether you drive North, East, South or West, you can enter a different world and experience new things. And the growth and ideas are amazing.
There was a time that I can remember that going out I10 led to nothing. Now the area is booming. And in that boom popped up one of the most fun and exciting parts of Houston – CityCentre. CityCentre is a cool and modern mix of work space, retail shops, amazing restaurants and hotels and apartments. You can, literally, live in CityCentre. And, if you do, you will live in style.
I have been to a few places in CityCentre in the past but I have never stayed for an extended amount of time and enjoyed all of the ammenities it offers. The perfect place for a staycation, Hotel Sorella offers a center seat for it all.
This uber modern hotel offers clean lines, minimalism and a new way of staying at a luxury hotel. The pool overlooks CityCentre and the rooms are spacious and colorful. There is no artwork on the walls in the rooms, keeping with the modern feel, but the massive size and the variety of seating makes you feel like you are staying in an apartment instead of a hotel room.
My room was a corner spot with windows on three sides overlooking rooftops and CityCentre. It was the perfect room for watching the amazing Fireworks show outside of my window. I snapped photos and enjoyed the comfort of my couch in my room along with some amazing wine I ordered as well.
Hotel Sorella offers a free gym and even salon services, a swimming pool overlooking CityCentre, meeting rooms perfect for business meetings and penthouse suites that even have balconies! They offer a colorful and delicious continental breakfast, bright bars and Bistro Alex, a restaurant with flair.
I stayed a few nights and it was so nice. You can plan a whole vacation or staycation, park your car, and never leave the area without getting bored. Live music and more waft through the air as you enjoy this part of Houston that has the feel of a whole new place!
Plan your stay at Hotel Sorella in CityCentre now!
The decor in the bedroom just looks so relaxing and who can beat a free continental breakfast?
Your bedroom is bigger than ours was, so I would say, request a corner room! And the breakfast was the best continental breakfast I’ve ever seen offered,
Your room was gorgeous! Watching the fireworks from the room was really nice.
