Sometimes we all need some seriously fun food. Something a little out of the ordinary. Something that our friends and family will say ‘WOW – that looks amazing!’ to when we put it in front of them. I am always on the lookout for something just a little weird! The other day, I was searching Tastemade YouTube Channel and found this awesome video on how to make foods that can be used as April Fool’s pranks or even just something to throw your friend’s off! I so want to try them ALL so I thought I would pass them on so you can try them too! My favorite is the Fried Chicken Cake Pops! Imagine having these for dinner and the kids biting in to see they are CAKE! LOL
- - VELVET VANILLA POUND CAKE - you need about 5 cups fine cake crumbs
- -CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- ¾ of 8ozcream cheese block
- ¼ cup room temperature butter
- ⅔ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2tbl whipping cream
- -OPTIONAL FILLINGS
- 2tbl strawberry/raspberry jam
- ¼ cup micro marshmallows
- ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
- -TOPPINGS
- -2 cups Corn Flakes, crushed (or other similar shaped cereal, or crumbled cookies)
- ⅛tsp cinnamon
- -PEANUT BUTTER CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- ¼ of 8ozcream cheese block
- 1tbl brown sugar
- 2bl peanut butter
- - TO MAKE THE LEGS YOU NEED
- White Candy Melts
- Mini Marshmallows
- Pretzel Sticks
