Learning to draw is always a new adventure for children; building confidence as skill develops is amazing to watch!  Drawing with Mark is an exceptional tool for new learners to grasp the building blocks of fundamental drawing.  To see their little face light up from their own artwork, which is now not limited to stick figures puts a nice big cheeky grin on this mother!

Art has been a part of my life since I can remember; and passing the love of creativity to my children is a priority for me.  The ability to draw takes practice and understanding, and I am not a teacher of this craft.  Drawing with Mark breaks down each step into actual reasoning as to why we need to know the fundamentals before free-handing.  He explains with amazing clarity that children can easily follow.  My children both enjoyed learning how to draw animals, dinosaurs, ice cream and outer space; which are found on the complete Drawing with Mark Series.

These DVDs are targeted to those wanting to learn how to draw while also teaching interesting facts! While watching and learning to draw in “Reach for the Stars” we explored the distance to the sun, planets, astronauts and the first moon landing.  Both of my children were fascinated as they learned while they drew their pictures.  The more they learned, the more the questions came pouring out. This series is a real treat and I am so excited to bring you this review!

Drawing with Mark provides two 30 minute drawing episodes per DVD. You will explore and learn to draw from the themes “Reach for the Stars, A Day with the Dinosaurs, We All Scream for Ice Cream, and Happy Tails.  Each DVD is an interactive and fun learning experience that make the perfect rainy-day (or snow day, in our case) activity!
