Everyone loves deviled eggs, but with these recipes, your dish will be the one guests won’t be able to resist!
It’s holiday time! Time to start thinking about all the good food we’ll get to make and share with our friends and families! One of my all-time favorite appetizers is the deviled egg. I don’t love egg whites, but when combined with the creamy yolk mixed with delicious spices like paprika, the whites make a delicious base. It’s the perfect kind of fancy finger food, and great for sharing during the holidays.
Did you know November 2nd is National Deviled Egg day? Perfect time to start trying out some of these new recipes before the holidays. By the time Thanksgiving is here, you’ll have the perfect appetizers for your guests.
The Classic Deviled Eggs
Now I know some people like to keep things simple, rather than branching out to new flavors. If that happens to be you, I might suggest trying The Best Deviled Eggs from Homemade Hooplah. You really can’t go wrong with a classic. Or you might try the Herbed deviled eggs from My Crazy Good Life. Nothing beats a classic than a classic with just a touch of extra.
Just Add Bacon
However, if you are up to trying a little something new, and you enjoy Bacon. Well, then you definitely want to check out the Bacon Deviled Eggs from Midget Momma, or these Sriracha Bacon Deviled Eggs from Beauty Through Imperfection.
A Touch of Spice
Of course you could be one of those who don’t like bacon (just don’t tell me please), but do enjoy a little spice you’ll want to go for these Sriracha Deviled Eggs from The Bewitchin’ Kitchen, the Spicy deviled eggs from A Day In Motherhood, or really branch out and try some Horseradish Deviled Eggs from Everyday Eileen. Finally, and this is a recipe I’m dying to try out this month, are these Crab Stuffed Deviled Eggs from 4 Sons ‘R’ Us. It’s never even crossed my mind to add another protein to such a classic dish, but I’m glad she thought of it!
Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs
If you’re looking for the best hard-boiled eggs recipe, I think I’ve finally found it using the Instant Pot! They come out easy to peel every time, leaving behind beautifully perfect eggs. Add about a cup of water in the bottom of the instant pot, lay down 1 layer of eggs on the rack, and pressure cook for 5 minutes. Do a natural release for 10 minutes, then a quick release. Rinse the eggs under cold water and peel right away.
