Most of my recipes that I make are piece together, what is in my pantry recipes. I love to throw things in a pot or pan just to see how they taste together. But the other day while stopping at Walmart for dog food, I stumbled upon Mary May. Mary May is a smiling, enthusiastic promoter of the tastings at Walmart. I could not help but stop and say hello as she talked about NEW TWIX® Bites! As she shared the two different sized packages and a coupon that gave me money off of my purchase, we talked about how delicious these would be in an Easy TWIX® Cheescake Pie Recipe.
Mary May was amazing. Fun, energetic and very happy to share with me these delicious little bites of a favorite candy of mine. Bidding her good bye, I headed to the shelves to see how popular these little bites were and they were empty. I think there were two bags left! So word is spreading fast!
I grabbed the rest of what I needed to make my pie and headed home.
- 1.2 Cups Graham Crackers, crushed
- 6 tablespooons butter, melted
- ⅓ Cup sugar
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 Box Cheesecake Pudding
- 2 Cups Milk
- 1 Small bag of TWIX Bite Size Candies
- Crush the graham crackers into ground pieces. Add butter, sugar and cinnamon and mix. Press into an non stick sprayed pie dish. Press the mixture into the bottom of the dish and cook 7 minutes at 375. Meanwhile, mix milk and pudding mix together. Add TWIX Bites, cut up into small pieces. Let pie crush cool slightly. Add pudding on crust and refrigerate for an hour. Serve.
A few tips: Spray the bottom of the pie pan before adding the graham cracker crust. I did not and now have a pie that I will happily eat from the pan!!
Double the pudding and TWIX® mixture for a thicker pie! I like mine thin but ‘regular’ pies are a little thicker.
The pie itself is so easy to make. Adding TWIX® Bites just gives it a little flair of extra deliciousness. The bite are little pieces of cookie, caramel and chocolate that make you feel like you are really getting a chewy treat with your pie!
I have a lot of bites left over after purchasing my two bags with my coupon so I am excited to not only share them as is, but to use them in cookie mixes, as toppers for ice cream and in more pies!
The best thing about being a throw it in the mix type of mom is that I come up with some pretty awesome things for my kids. This pie is going to be a HIT and can be easily made with any Bites Candy you find on the shelves!
How do you incorporate candy into your recipes? Will the new Bites make it easier for you to create? I want to hear all about your recipes!
Cheesecake+TWIX?! I’m in heaven – this looks absolutely amazing and like something even I can do! #client
It was really easy!! I used double the pudding and TWIX on the next one for more yumminess :)
