**Recipe by Beth M.**

Setting the scene for a birthday party can be quite the task, and I know a lot of little gals out there want the new FROZEN theme!  You can easily create FROZEN themed cake push pops that the kiddos will absolutely rave over!  The push pop containers are pretty cheap and can be washed in the dishwasher for continued use.  I also keep blue food coloring on hand and simply used it to create that icy color from FROZEN!

Layering your cake push pops is as simple as deciding what your party goers enjoy most!  In these cake push pops, we layered

  • blue colored (vanilla cake)
  • ***HINT*** Use shallow jelly roll pans to make the cake. I made 1/2 of the batter in white, and 1/2 the batter in blue       color
  • pearl sprinkles
  • sugar sprinkles
  • butter cream icing
  • white cake layer
  • sugar sprinkles
  • small dab of butter cream icing
  • blue cake layer
  • butter cream icing
  • long white sprinkles

You can buy cheap packs of various sprinkles to use, I used all white; but blue sprinkles would also be super cute in these cake push ups!  These cake push pops come with a lid so you can make them the night before, but if you are making them the day of the party you can really go crazy with the butter cream icing on the top!  The best part is seeing their little faces light up when they notice the beautiful confections you have made! You might even feel like the princess of the party when you see smiles all around!

With such a versatile kitchen tool in hand, you will be able to create so many different options for all of your parties! I have made these for birthday parties, baby showers and just for fun with the kids!
