I have to tell you, this thing is C O O L! LOL Seriously, who comes up with this stuff? Let me see if I can get descriptive enough to explain why this is one of my Top 10 Toys this year (post coming Thanksgiving day 2012).
The Barbie® Photo Fashion Doll is a well dressed, beautiful Barbie – available in Caucasian and African-American Versions –
that has an actual camera and screen to immediately view photos built into the doll! The camera “eyehole” is located on her back. It is small and easy for the kids to aim and shoot. The t-shirt on her front is the live screen! They hold the doll facing them and can see what image they are about to snap in the screen! And then, it holds and is immediately displayed on the T-shirt on the front of the Barbie®!
BUT, there is even more! Not only can kids push the middle heart button on her belt to immediately capture some pretty good images, they can customize those images too! They can add sephia coloring, make them black and white, add crowns, different hair and so much more! ALSO – can you believe there is MORE? – there are built in standard images that kids can flip through and choose to display on the dolls shirt!
Oh the fun my girls had with this. And by girls I include myself with no shame! Stuff like this is just FUN!
Now, onto more great features! The doll comes with a stand and USB cable so that you can a) charge the doll back to full battery and b) download your kids images to your computer so that they can use them to customize with the Barbie® Photo Fashion doll software! As the images appear on the LCD scree on the t-shirt, they also appear on the computer screen and can be sent to friends!
Yes, I know, this is way cool! So, onto some features for the techies in the crowd! This Barbie® features 4MB of memory, can hold 200+ images, contains a 0.3 megapixel digital camera, has a rechargeable battery, allows customization of photos with 30+ frames, filters and stamps and images can even be displayed on the LCD screen on her shirt as a slide show!
Seriously, how cool is this?
