Fall is in the air- which in Texas means it is in the 8o’s – and I am already pulling out my Pumpkin Pie candles and airing out our coat and sweaters.   I have turned the page on the calendar and am SHOCKED that it is November already!  But it is and Thanksgiving and Christmas are on the horizon!

Arby's Turkey

With those holidays come roasted turkeys, cranberry sauce and other favorites that seem to mark the season and have me craving some yummy turkey sandwiches.  You know, the ones where you pile high the leftover turkey, add cool crisp lettuce and a dollop of mayonnaise and some soft, warm bread?  Yea, those.  The ones you eat while watching football or decorating the Christmas tree!

Lucky for me, Arby’ has created some NEW Oven Roasted warm sandwiches that let me enjoy those moments without having to cook a turkey in the oven for hours on end!  Nor do I have to carve it, store it or clean my kitchen when I am done!

Arby’s, for me, has always been a roast beef place.  I have always loved their roast beef and cheddar sandwiches and there was a time – my first pregnancy – where I visited for that, some curly fries and a tea almost every day.  What? The baby wanted it!

So I knew before I pulled into the driveway with my two youngest children that were hungry and antsy, that I was going to get a quality product that I would like.  I had not been inside of an Arby’s in a while and was pleasantly surprised to see it updated and stylish.  The one I went to even had a raised “patio” feel area in the middle of the restaurant.

I checked out the menu for the kids and ordered them a Kraft Macaroni and Cheese kids meal!  How fun is that?  And then I decided to try the NEW Grand Turkey Club Sandwich!  After all, I am in the mood for turkey these days!

Plus it has bacon.  Who can turn down anything with bacon?  Not me.  Almost not ever!

Arby's Turkey Sandwish

The sandwiches are served warm, which I love for the cool Fall weather, and has lots of turkey, bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo.  I took a bite and the mix of flavors and textures were really good!  I am not much on sandwiches in general at fast food places. I find them to be greasy with too much of one ingredient and not enough of another.  But the Grand Turkey Club was balanced, delicious and did not make me feel uncomfortable stuffed when I was done!

When out and about and craving those fall favorites, stop by and Arby’s and try their warm turkey sandwiches!  They will solve your cravability with flavor and warmth!

Arby’s is the place for people hungering for a unique, better tasting alternative to traditional fast food. It’s the favorite place for people who crave something different and better. Serving one-of-a-kind menu items, Arby’s is well known for slow-roasted and freshly sliced roast beef sandwiches and famous Market Fresh® sandwiches, wraps and salads and served with the convenience of a drive-thru.
