Leftover Biscuit French Toast is easy, fun and a great way to thrill the family with delicious food!
Ingredients
4 leftover biscuits (you can also use freshly baked)
5 eggs
3 egg yolks
½ cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp cinnamon
4 tbsp butter
Instructions
In a casserole dish, add the 5 egg, the egg yolks, the heavy cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Stir well. Cut the leftover biscuits in half and place in the dish. Let sit 5-10 minutes. Flip the biscuits and let them sit again. The older the biscuits, the more they need to sit.
In a skillet, add 2 tbsp of butter and let melt. Add the biscuits and let them brown, maybe 3 minutes on each side. Serve with real maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar.
