Leftover Biscuit French Toast is easy, fun and a great way to thrill the family with delicious food!
Ingredients
  • 4 leftover biscuits (you can also use freshly baked)
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp butter
Instructions
  1. In a casserole dish, add the 5 egg, the egg yolks, the heavy cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Stir well. Cut the leftover biscuits in half and place in the dish. Let sit 5-10 minutes. Flip the biscuits and let them sit again. The older the biscuits, the more they need to sit.
  2. In a skillet, add 2 tbsp of butter and let melt. Add the biscuits and let them brown, maybe 3 minutes on each side. Serve with real maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar.
