These Sweet & Salty Toffee Bars are made better with Dark Chocolate Wavy Lays!
Ingredients
  • – 8 graham crackers, or as many to fit your baking sheet
  • – Bag of Dark Chocolate Wavy Lays
  • – 1 ½ cups pecans, roughly chopped
  • – 3 sticks unsalted butter
  • – ¾ cup sugar
  • – ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • – 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips or chopped semisweet chocolate
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange graham crackers in a single layer. Lay out the Dark Chocolate Wavy Lays evenly over the graham crackers. Sprinkle with the pecans.
  2. In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar and cinnamon and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally until golden brown and slightly thickened, about 10 minutes. Pour toffee mixture evenly over chips and peanuts.
  3. Bake at 350 for about 10- 15 minutes, depending on your oven. Toffee should be a little golden and bubbly. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Allow the chocolate to melt.
  4. Let sit until cool and then remove from pan and break apart.
  5. Let cool completely (you can stick them in the refrigerator to make this happen faster) before breaking into squares.
