Make this Slow Cooker French Toast recipe in 4 hours or overnight and savor it in the morning!
Ingredients
  • I loaf of french bread - I let it sit a day to get a little hard so it won't be too mushy after 8 hours in the slow cooker
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tspn cinnamon
  • 1tspn sugar
  • Topping
  • ¾ c brown sugar
  • ½ cup soft butter
  • 2 tspn cinnamon
  • 1 c mini marshmallows
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, mix the topping ingredients and set aside. Cut bread into large cubes. You can do slices as well but the cubes make it easier for kids to scoop out. In another bowl, mix the eggs, milk, 1 tspn cinnamon and 1 tspn sugar. Set aside.
  2. Spray your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Layer the bottom with the bread and them top with ⅓ of the topping. It won't spread evenly but at least get some marshmallows evenly distributed. Repeat 2 more times.
  3. Top the entire slow cooker with the egg mixture. Turn on low for 4 hours or warm for 8 hours for overnight french toast.
