Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Cake

Ingredients
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 container chocolate fudge icing
  • 1 container chocolate caramel icing
  • 1 jar caramel
  • 1 bag of pretzels
  • 1 ounce white chocolate
Instructions
  1. Line the bottom of 2 cake pans with parchment paper and spray the sides. Mix chocolate cake mix as per box. Divide evenly into the pans. Drop pans on counter to pop the air bubble. Bake according to the package. Mix and repeat with the while cake layer, only making one of the two pans. Cool cakes and use a serrated knife to cut the tops off so they all sit flat. While cooling, put some pretzels in a plastic bag and use a rolling pin or tenderizer to smash them up. Put a chocolate layer on your plate and ice with the chocolate caramel icing. Add a few tablespoons of caramel sauce and spread evenly. Add a layer of crushed pretzels. Top with the white cake layer. Spread the chocolate caramel icing over the white cake, add a few tablespoons of caramel, spread evenly and add a layer of pretzels. Top with the second layer of chocolate cake. Ice entire three layer cake with chocolate fudge icing. Meanwhile, melt 1 ounce of white chocolate in the microwave according to directions. Use a spoon to gently string the white chocolate over the cake. Top with decorative pretzels and serve.
