Lemon Pound Cake & Lemon Sauce

- 3 sticks of butter softened
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 Tsp. Lemon Extract
- 3 Cups all purpose flour
- ¾ Tsp. Baking Powder
- ¼ Tsp. Salt
- Heat oven to 325
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar beating well.
- Add the eggs one at a time into the creamed mixture.
- Add the lemon extract
- Slowly add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix well.
- Bake in fluted pan or loaf pan until toothpick comes out clean.
- Loaf pan: ~45 minutes
