Lemon Pound Cake & Lemon Sauce

Ingredients
  • 3 sticks of butter softened
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 Tsp. Lemon Extract
  • 3 Cups all purpose flour
  • ¾ Tsp. Baking Powder
  • ¼ Tsp. Salt
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 325
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar beating well.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time into the creamed mixture.
  4. Add the lemon extract
  5. Slowly add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix well.
  6. Bake in fluted pan or loaf pan until toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Loaf pan: ~45 minutes
