This is a guest review by Adelina, from Home Maid Simple. The wooden boats were exchanged for an honest review.

The holidays are here, and that means making sure we’ve found presents for everyone on our list. When I saw these Handmade Wooden Boats from Magicforest, I was in love. After 3 girls, I find a special kind of pleasure in buying toys for my little boy; and what is more boy than a wooden sailboat?

I watched my nephews over the weekend, and was so glad I had the little blue sailboat and Pirate ship. It kept the two little boys entertained and playing nicely, and had the older boys asking me if we could go sail them down a river. Without a river nearby (or a car large enough to haul 8 kids around), I had to say no to that request. I’m sure we’ll find a day to try sailing them outside once the weather warms up again though.

In the meantime, it just happened that our bathroom carpet is ocean blue and makes great waves for sailing time fun.

These boats have been handmade in Germany since 1898! That alone told me the quality would be high. The boats are made from spruce wood grown in managed forests in Europe, while the rigging and knots are all done by hand!!  When the boys aren’t playing with the wooden boats, they make a classic decoration. If you have a sailor’s theme going on, these boats are a must have addition!

You can find these wooden boats and a myriad of other toys perfect for gifting this holiday season from bonjour petit, an online retailer dedicated to bringing the finest toys from Europe to the United States. I’m eyeing the Snow White Theatre and Cinema Box for the girls Christmas presents. Bonjour Petit also offers gift wrapping and free shipping over $75, so you can unpack the box right under the tree, with no worries the kids will glimpse presents before Christmas morning.
