If you guys will remember, back in February the girls and I went to the Disney Social Media Moms conference. Not only did we get to enjoy special events and days at sea with Disney Cruise lines, but we also got to connect with some great brands. One of the brands that I was most excited about was Hanes. For years I have worn their undergarments and have loved them. But I has some questions. Like, ‘Why do all of the bras for larger chested woman have to be so BLAH!’ and, ‘Why can’t one of you brands, Champion, make sports bras for larger chested women that actually hold them in?’ Is there no pretty, functional and comfortable Underwear for Larger Chested Women?
Let’s be honest. Even single women like myself likes to look good and feel comfortable in our underwear. Even if no one sees them, we know when they are worn out or have holes in them. We also know that they can add a lot to our comfort and discomfort. If they don’t fit right or if an underwire is coming out of that bra that we bought on clearance, we have an irritation that lasts all day.
I have always trusted the Hanes family brands like Playtex and Champion but wanted to know if they could do more. I am tired of the plain white bras that have no style for my larger chest. Underwear for Larger Chested Women just seems so basic.
The reps I talked to told me that I am not the only one begging for something sexy and pretty for larger women that does not cost twice what we can afford. They told me that they are really working with their Playtex and Bali lines to add comfortable and beautiful fabrics along with quality we all need. With their Hanes Oh So Light Bras, they are making comfort and beauty a priority as well. I received three bras and all of them fit well, are comfortable and show the quality that will make them last!
My next major concern was support while working out. You guys know I love CrossFit. I often have to double up on sports bras to keep my chest tames while doing all of the moves, however. Underwear for Larger Chested Women includes workout gear. So I asked if there were any plans coming up to add support to sports bras for larger women. They said yes! While Champion does not have ‘specific to that need’ formal plans, they are working to add more support to every sports bra they make. The recognize that not every woman is build equally but we all need support.
We moved on to the kid’s line and the new comfort and seamless line of Champion Hipsters. My girls LOVE these! They say they are so comfortable and pretty. They fit under anything. Add to that the comfortable and colorful Hanes Ultimate ankle socks and my girls are all ready for school, summer and play time!
There are more advancements being made to every brand in the Hanes house. I look forward to seeing some of the styles I saw that day in stores more and more!
