I do not think there is a Disney movie that I do not love. In fact, anytime one comes out of the vault, even if it is not in theaters, I jump on it for my collection.
I did not see The Hunchback Of Notre Dame or The Hunchback Of Notre Dame II back when I was a child so the fact that I can get it on Blu-Ray combo now is a real treat! 
In the original Hunchback, Quaisimodo, we see a most unlikely hero befriend Esmerelda and watch the drama as they work together to save the city they love so much from certain ruin. Check out an awesome clip below:

In a cushy theater behind closed doors watching clips from Iron Man 3 with the PRESIDENT of Marvel, Kevin Feige!!
I KNOW! I still can not wrap my mind around it! How many mom’s really get to sit down with the HEAD of one of the largest family entertainment companies out there? Well… 25 but still!
So Mr. Feige comes in, phones go off, people don’t move…. this is monumental!
He opens, red Marvel cap firmly on his head, bottle of water in his hands, as casual as you and me, ready to talk about his life’s passion, Marvel. He begins with the awesome relationship Marvel now has with Disney and why Disney was such a great choice for the mega-company to work with.
Since both Marvel and Disney are focused on family values, the puzzle pieces just fit. In addition, Disney, true to it’s form, let’s Marvel be Marvel, therefore leading to intelligent creativity and the freedom to put it all on film for us to enjoy and, well…. marvel at.
Then…. grasping our seats with anticipation… the large screen flickered and up popped Iron Man 3!! Not even totally edited yet. But I have to say…. magnificent!
Confession time… I have never seen an Iron Man movie. I know, I KNOW! But, honestly, I did not think it was my ‘thing’. I have another confession. And there are some *SPOILERS* here…. when I saw Gwyneth Paltrow put on the Iron Man suit… let me give that a second to soak in…. a woman, strong and powerful and intelligent in a super hero suit? – a round of applause for Marvel, please…. I was hooked! I LOVE the strong, witty, sarcastic leading lady that can take on her super hero man and do it with dignity, class and femininity! What an awesome role model for my daughters!
Another *SPOILER* that has me wanting to rent every Iron Man movie and rewatch the Avengers is that there is an awesome little kid in this movie, played by Ty Simkins. And he is going to be Tony Stark’s friend and challenger as we see a softer side emerge and a human come out from the suit. Talk about ‘tying’ in family to this mega hit movie series! {hehe}
We got to watch about 20 minutes or so of the movie. We saw action scenes that are A MAZ ING, the connections between the characters and the beginning of the friendship with Ty. It was, by far, the coolest thing ever! And I am eternally hooked! No lie! I was totally bummed when it was over!

My girls got wind of this show when it premiered in January of 2013 and now I have to record it on DVD. I, myself, love it because of it’s not only a movie, but includes a Royal Sing A Long as well! WHO IS EXCITED??!?! MEEEEE!!!!
My Oz the Great and Powerful World Premier Experience at the Amazing El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood #DisneyOzEvent
As I stepped out of the van with 12 other bloggers onto Hollywood Boulevard, I had to pinch myself. Surely I was in the wrong place. The dress I was wearing was really my typical TShirt and I was home, typing away on my computer, listening to my children play, living the experience in a dream.
But as I walked over star after star on Hollywood Boulevard, a sidewalk I have only seen on television, the reality hit me that I was, in fact, about to walk the Yellow Brick Carpet for the premier of the highly anticipated prequel, Oz The Great and Powerful. And I could not have been more ecstatic!
As I walked to the amazingly beautiful El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, I was taken in with the spectacle I was approaching. The Oz Balloon was on display, marking the event to be as large and colorful as it really was. As we approached, we passed the actual stairs that the stars climb on Oscar night. We could not resist so 25 bloggers click clacked up for a shot of a lifetime. I am way in the back but I don’t care. I have a photo on the stairs of the Dolby Theater where the likes of Katherine Hepburn and Richard Gere and Julia Roberts have walked.
We then headed to the main event. The Red Carpet where the likes of James Franco, Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, Zack Braff, Joey King and Rachel Weisz were walking and smiling and having their photos done. I was sure that we would miss them all as we waiting for our tickets and badges, but I was thrilled to be there and planned on striking and “who is that crazy girl with the stupid smile’ pose as I sloooowwwwllllyyyy walked the carpet.
Imagine my incredibly surprise as I walked right past Mila Kunis striking a post and one of my favorite actresses on screen today, Michelle Williams looking delicate and regal all at once. I snapped my photos, suppressed my squeals of excitement and savored every moment. Things like this you want to remember when your 90. And I wanted to imprint it deeply. It seemed like the fastest three seconds in my life but must have taken ten to get all the way down and into the amazingly beautiful lobby of the famed El Capitan Theatre.
There was history here and I could sense it all around me. Plush rich colors, architecture from old Hollywood and the classic and regal decor of a theatre that has shown more classic movies than any other I can think of in Hollywood. I settled into the seat that Audrey Hepburn once sat in – well, I have no actual proof, but I just knew – and drank in the amazing sights in front of me.
The beautiful and colorful rich interior boasts an intricate Indian design. At the time it was built, the Theatre was said to have cost $1.2 million to design. Chump change these days, a steep price tag back in 1926. Closing in at 100 years old, the Theatre stands the test of modern tastes with the classic elegance of Hollywood past. Yes… did you read that? Little ‘ole Lori has been invited to walk the Yellow Brick Road with some seriously fantastic bloggers and… GULP – possibly some celebrities? I am leaving on a Jet Plane and landing in a world of wonder in February!

Now, I don’t know about you, but I have been SO excited to see this movie since I heard it was hitting theaters March 8, 2013! I LOVED the Wizard of Oz as a little girl and can not wait to see what this updated film has to offer! I mean, just read a little about it below and tell me YOU are not super excited too?!!?
Disney’s fantastical adventure “Oz The Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved wizard character. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful wizard but into a better man as well.
“Oz The Great and Powerful” is produced by Joe Roth, with a screenplay by Mitchell Kapner and David Lindsay-Abaire (credit not final). Grant Curtis, Palak Patel, Philip Steuer and Josh Donen are serving as executive producers. “Oz The Great and Powerful” opens in U.S. theaters on March 8, 2013.

I will be traveling February 13 through the 15th and Disney has so much in store for me! I will be staying at the – are you sitting down? – SAME hotel that The Bachelorette’s Ashley and J.P. got married in last month, The Langham Huntington Hotel!! Don’t think for a second that I am not sharing every photo of that with you guys!
In addition – just GUESS where the premier is? The FAMOUS El Capitain Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard! This theater, built in 1926, has featured so many great Hollywood Films that I am sure the walls will talk! I can not wait! I actually have to pinch myself, guys!
And here is the MOST AWESOMEST PART – well, all of the parts are awesome but really, what little stay at home mom gets to sit down and interview James Franco, Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz, Zach Braff, Joey King and Director Sam Raimi????
Yea… I know!! Send questions now and I will try to ask them for you when I can actually form words around these awesome stars!
And to throw in more excitement, I’ll be screaming Wreck-It Ralph in anticipation of it’s in-home DVD release on March 5, 2013!
Oh my head is spinning with excitement! I need a dress, shoes, jewelry and to be pinched! Anyone know a dressmaker I can call? LOL
