I don’t know about any of you- but one of my biggest personal struggles after I had my children has been my weight.  I am honestly ashamed to admit this- but I’m hoping that by putting it out there for all of you it will hold me accountable and make this more “real”.  I currently weigh the same as the day that I went into labor with my daughter….who is now 6.  This terrifies me.  I’ve also lately been having some trouble with asthma.  I’ve been afraid to ask if it’s been brought on by weight. So when I was approached to try Skinny Fiber, I was skeptical but hopeful.

A few months ago I read an article that went viral on Facebook about women not being in family photos (or any photos) because they don’t like they way they look.  I’m very sad to admit that there are only 4 photos of me with both my children.  There are no photos of me with my husband.  There are no photos of me with my stepchildren.  We have no family photos.  Being a photographer, there’s something wrong here.

This one, lonely photo of me was taken 3 weeks ago and it is taking everything in me to share it with you guys.

I WANT to be more active.  I know this is an excuse, but life has gotten in the way of me taking care of ME.  I work outside of the home- 50+ hours a week.  I have 2 children, ages 6 and 7 – one is on the autism spectrum –  and 2 stepchildren.  I have a second job as a photographer and I do product reviews for A Day in Motherhood, too (because they are just FUN!).  I am beyond exhausted.

I’ve heard “just get up an hour earlier and work out then”, “Walk at lunch”, “Do it when you get home”.  None of this works in my schedule….for various reasons.  I used to work out before bed after everyone else had gone to sleep.  That worked great for me.  But now I can barely even stay awake past 9:00 pm.  My lack of energy is the biggest issue for me right now.

I would love a “quick-fix”, but I also know that there is no such thing.  In order for this to work it takes time, dedication, and lifestyle changes.  I have seen friends and family members make changes and see results.  I know it CAN be done.   I know it NEEDS to be done.  What I didn’t know is HOW do I start?  I finally figured it out.  THIS is how I’m going to start.  Right here, on A Day in Motherhood.  With all of you.

And I am going to start by taking Skinny Fiber.

Skinny Fiber is different than the other options out there.  It is “scientifically formulated with some of the world’s most powerful weight management ingredients” and “packed with powerful enzymes to get your body ready to lose that extra fat”.  All you have to do is take 2 capsules about a half an hour before every meal, with a full glass of liquid.

I started my journey with Skinny Fiber on October 1st.  I plan to continue taking it, while also working in some exercise (even if it’s just a walk with the kids around the block in the evening) and changing some of our eating habits.  It is my hope that after the end of this month I will be able to post an after photo with that one above and show a difference.

Whether you are using Skinny Fiber or beginning (or in the middle of) your own journey, I challenge you.  I challenge you to not give up….no matter what.  There will be bumps in the road, but I challenge you to keep on going.  I challenge you to have a photo taken of you- by yourself or with friends/family.  And I challenge you to share YOUR story with us- whether it’s in the comments below or sending us a private email.

If you are NOT using Skinny Fiber and/or you are NOT making your own journey- but have been thinking about it- I challenge YOU to start.  No more excuses.  The time to do it is NOW.  I have faith in each and every one of you that you will succeed.  I also challenge you to share with us your stories, your challenges, your successes and your fears.
