Do you have kids?  Do they like music?  Do they like the beach/sea?   If you answered yes to at least one of those then I have the CD for you!

Recess Monkey is the nationally acclaimed trio of teachers who make music for kids and families that truly rocks. Seamlessly meshing their indie-rock roots with their keen awareness of childhood themes, the band continues to make waves coast to coast. “Deep Sea Diver” is the band’s ninth album, showcasing the high-energy, pitch-perfect understanding of what gets kids excited that has launched them into national awareness.

Did you read that?  Recess Monkey is a group of TEACHERS!  How cool is that?!  I know my teachers were pretty cool when I was in school….but I’m pretty sure none of them ever did anything like this!

Songs like Tambourine Submarine, Fish Sticks, Beach Ball, and Choral Reef (just to name a few) will have you itchy (and possibly have you start packing) for the beach!  I don’t know what the weather has been like where you are, but it’s been hazy, hot, and humid here for the last two weeks.  The kids love having Deep Sea Diver playing while they’re in the pool and sprinklers!
