This Peppermint Body Scrub is a great last minute gift!

I am rushing around trying to find the perfect gift for my sister and mother. I have the perfect pair of earrings for one but have not found anything in stores that is personal enough for them. So I thought about what I would want and realized that my Easy Homemade Peppermint Body Scrub would be perfect! A while back a friend gave me some and I LOVE it! So as I was making another batch for myself, which takes 10 minutes, I made some for my family too!

  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 1½ - 2 cups white sugar
  • ½ tabelspoon peppermint extract
  • red and green food coloring
Instructions
  1. Put the coconut oil in the microwave and heat on high for 20 seconds, or until softened. Add 1 1/;2 cup sugar, peppermint oil and red or green food coloring. Mix well. If you have too much moisture, add more sugar up to 2 cups.
  2. Spoon into air tight container!

Aren’t these so pretty and festive? They encourage relaxation with the need for a bath to use them, smell amazing and are great for your skin! My scrubs leave my skin so soft and the gentle hint of peppermint fills the air and even seems to clean my sinuses!
