“Oh my gosh, MOM! We HAVE to go see this movie!” That is what happened when we saw the trailer for Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life! My 5th grader is all about it! The books, written by James Patterson, are fun and a companion she loves as she enters middle school herself. The movie is almost here! Hitting theaters October 7, 2016,it promises to be a hit for any kid trying to get through these crazy years!
Check out the trailer now:
Starring Griffin Gluck, Lauren Graham, Rob Riggle, Thomas Barbusca, Andy Daly, and Adam Pally, the movie centers around the all familiar fight for independence! Rafe Khatchadorian (Griffin Gluck) has an epic imagination and a slight problem with authority. Both collide when he transfers to a middle school where students are expected to follow the rules. This doesn’t sit well with Rafe. With help from his new friend Leo (Thomas Barbusca), the mischievous lad concocts schemes to drive his tyrannical principal (Andy Daly) crazy while also using his charm and wits to impress a girl (Isabela Moner) and battle the bullies.
Since we all encourage imagination in our kids and support them finding their way, this movie could be a great conversation starter!
