Mi Cocina sit outside The Woodlands Mall in The Woodlands, TX. In the midst of high end stores and perfectly manicured landscapes, the elegant but casual restaurant stands out. The signage is easy from the parking lot at the back of the mall.
At this media event, I was introduced to some spectacular new menu items that Mi Cocina is introducing now in restaurants!
From appetizers to dessert, the chef at this restaurant is totally in control. Not your regular Tex-Mex food, Mi Cocina amps up the flavors and presentation for all to enjoy!
Wet your appetite with the Signature Sangria before you order the amazing Queso Blanco. I don’t know which was my favorite -the Queso Blanco or the Guacamole ‘Mexicano’. They were both wonderful in taste and presentation.
But the Tcos ‘DeBrisket’ that they marinate and over roast over night was the most mouth watering, delicious, savory thing on the menu. At least for me. You can not go to this restaurant and not try this dish! It was unbelievable!
If you are a more seafoody person, give the Ceviche de Camarones a try. Flavored with Mango and a sweetness, my fellow seafood eaters lapped it up with a smile on their face!
If you are a presentation foodie, the open face tamales with thrill you to no end! From Grilled Chicken Breast to the Spicy Arrachera Steak to Picadillo Beef and even a Vegetarian variety, the flavors dance on your tongue and dare you to stop eating them!
The entire new menu is amazing! Gather those you love and have a wonderful, five star meal ending with the Flan that sweetens your day just that much more!
