OK, I am going to lay it out there. If you see the NEW Family Sized Marie Callender’s Pot Pies on shelves, grab them! All of them. Like right at that moment. Because these things are popular for very good reason! They are amazing on taste, time savers and the whole family loves them!

As a child, I remember clearly the Marie Callender’s Pot Pies that my mother would serve on her busiest days. The flaky crust was my favorite part, I won’t lie. Little did I know that the whole package was a perfect blend of homemade gravy mixed with vegetables and all white-meat chicken, in a golden, perfectly flaky crust that’s made from scratch crust. I just loved the amazing flavor and could never get enough.

Now as a very busy mom of three – and having just lived through a week of below 40 temps in Texas – I see why Pot Pies are so delicious, easy and fun to serve! These really are the the warmest comforts of the season wrapped together in a meal made to savor.

The coolest thing about Marie Callender’s Pot Pies is that now they offer a Family Size!! So instead of baking just a few at a time and then waiting for more to be done, I can bake the huge size all at once, serve it up – maybe with some Garlic Loaf from Walmart, where you can also find the new size!  The bread would just soak up the homemade gravy, you know.

Any given night I could be considered too busy to make a homemade meal. So having easy, go to dinners like Marie Callender’s Pot Pies is an awesome thing. I get the same homemade taste in a meal that everyone loves. One of the Family Size pot pies fed me and my girls with leftovers to boot! So a family of 5 or 6 can easily enjoy the delicious and juicy chicken, crunchy veggies and creamy gravy topped with a crust that will make you swoon and want seconds!

I am not exaggerating when I say that if you see these on shelves, you need to snap them up. Use them as a main dish or create some fun recipes to go with them too!  Or just curl up on the couch, family under the same blanket, a holiday movie playing and enjoy home cooked flavor with very little effort!
