Into the Woods on Blu-Ray DVD is Here

The blockbuster hit, Into the Woods is now out on Blu-Ray DVD! Into the Woods is a modern twist on several beloved fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone), and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy), all tied together by an original story involving a Baker and his Wife (James Corden and Emily Blunt), their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the Witch (Meryl Streep), who has put a curse on them.

The kids and I did not see the movie in theaters so we were excited to get it at home. I watched it first and decided that my kids could wait a few years. It is an amazing Disney feature, as always, but I think kids under 10 are too young for some of the innuendos. However, I would watch it again in a heartbeat!

All of the characters we loved growing up, from Little Red Riding Hood to Rapunzel, are featured as the adventure takes you on a journey. A never before seen song, She’ll Be Back, by Meryl Strep is amazing! You will want to hear it again and again!
