In this world of diets and plans and ideas on how to stay healthy and eat well, we can all get a little crazy with what to eat, how much to eat, when to stop and so on.  I am on a great plan now and love it but do have to be very mindful of what I am eating for my dinner.  I want to LOVE food again instead of feeling like I NEED food to satisfy some underlying want!

Eat What you love book

Recently, I was lucky enough to interview author Michelle May, M.D. of the book, Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat: How to Break Your Eat-Repent-Repeat Cycle.  I received the book and have a copy for one of you too!  Check out the interview below:

I found Dr. May to be very open and honest about her book, her ideas and the realities of the difficulty in choosing correctly and being MINDFUL of what we are putting our bodies.  She was very open about how to be aware of what we eat and why food should be savored and not devoured.  Being guilty of binge eating no matter what diet I am on, I hung to every word during our interview.

But one thing I really wanted to understand was how to teach my three daughters how to see food as more of what it is.  A needed resource to fuel their bodies.  I don’t want them to see it as a crutch or a comfort.  I want them to know when they are full, love what they choose to eat and make good choices.  Be sure to listen to Dr. May explain how her book can help me do just that!

I am excited to keep reading and learning more about Dr. May’s book and I am super excited to give one to a reader.  With the holidays approaching, over eating and not even tasting what we all over eat is going to be on the rise.  Learn how to prevent it and thus prevent the dreaded New Year’s Diet!

Just enter to WIN below and GOOD LUCK!
