**I received the flowers from FTD in the hopes that I would include them in a post. Adding them to the Easy DIY Valentine Mantle Sign is seemless. All opinions are my own.**

I will admit that decorating is not my strong suit. My house is sort of a hodgepodge of things I throw together. There is no rhyme or reason, really. When I go to my neighbors house, I wish it were different. For instance, for Valentine’s Day she has the most amazing decorated mantle. It has a rustic feel and is so inviting. Now, I don’t have a mantle or fireplace so I can not duplicate this look in my home but I can make an Easy DIY Valentine Mantle Sign that will work for any holiday!

The Easy DIY Valentine Mantle Sign is highlighted by flowers from FTD

Start this easy sign by heading to the store. In the craft section you can find chalkboard banners or pieces of chalkboard that you can rope together.

Get some chalkboard paint pens as well.

If you find the pieces of the chalkboard tiles, get some sturdy rope so you can string them together as well.

If you do that, you need a hot glue gun and maybe a drill to make the holes for the rope.

Start by wiping down the tiles or garland. You want it clean for the chalkboard paint.

Then, using your imagination, write and draw what you want on them! My friend chose ‘Mi Amore’ based on the number of tiles on her garland.

She drew hearts and other designs on the empty ones!

Hang the garland and then add fun decorations you have to the mantle!

To make it all that much more special, do not forget the professionally arranged flowers from FTD! I love the special arrangements they have for this Valentine’s Day. It is not too late to order and share some beauty with those you love!
