Easy Candy Recipes

The holidays are right around the corner and it’s time to start planning for the baking season.  I love making candy but I really love the easy candy recipes.  There are some that give the “wow” factor in gift giving and you won’t believe just how easy they really are.Just look at these cute little chocolate covered candies.  These are the mini snickers bars covered in a orange chocolate and drizzled with a white chocolate.  Easy to make and elegant looking too!  These are a fun idea for easy candy!

I really like how easy the Jolly Rancher lollipops are.  Stack your favorite colors, put a stick under them and bake.  Voila!  Instant lollipop that tastes pretty darn good too!

Look at the bright blue candy bark decorated with sprinkles that look like confetti!  The ideas are endless with this one.  You could make this any color you want with any type of sprinkles too.  All you have to do is melt the candy coating, spread it in a pan and sprinkle the tops on.  Wow.  That is definitely easy!

Next up is chocolate covered pretzel sticks!  These top our easy list because all you have to do is melt the chocolate, dip the pretzel and sprinkle your toppings.  These pretzel sticks can look pretty elegant too.  All you have to do is melt a different color chocolate and drizzle it over the dipped pretzel and you have a gourmet treat that is pleasing to the eye!  I love to make these with all kinds of toppings such as nuts, M&M’s or even your favorite crushed candy bar.  Think Oreo Cookies!  Yum, right?!  Plus,  these are fun to stand in a decorated bowl for a party table display too!  I usually use a big bowl of M&M’s to make the pretzel sticks stand up.
