Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven Baking Star Edition Review & Giveaway

The girls are getting to that age where they want to help mom in the kitchen with everything! I am all about it but also want to hone their understanding of baking and kitchen responsibility with encouraging toys! So when I was introduced to the Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven Baking Star Edition, I had to see if it was as awesome as it looks on TV. I am happy to say, as my kids are now baking in the kitchen – safely -that it is pretty cool!

Using the oven is really simple. Included in the package are the Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven, the tray to bake, the push through tool and the baking mix for brownies, cookies and all of the fixings! My girls had the box open and the oven ready to go within minutes!

We made brownies first with the included mix. Megan had a great time mixing water with the powder and then scooping it into the provided tray. Using the tool, we slid the tray into the Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven and waiting the allotted time for it to bake. Out came a delicious brownie that she could say she made all by herself!

My supervision of the activity was minimal. I had to make sure she understood that the top and sides of the over were hot but once that was done, she had a good grasp on how to use it to make fun treats. You can get refill packets for the oven online or in stores.

Using the icing and sprinkles we turned the brownies into sparkle cakes but the girls ate them up before I could get a photo for you!

Building confidence in kids starts with letting them do some things for their selves. The Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven Baking Star Edition is a great way to teach kids confidence in the kitchen without the fear of using the really big oven!
