Years ago I took my girls ice skating here on the North side of town. They loved it and ever since have begged to go back. But the rink we went to is kind of cold and, obviously, because it is Houston, inside. So when I learned that I could take the girls to an OUTDOOR rink in Houston at Discovery Green, I was all over it! Not only do they have a rink for adults and big kids, but for families with toddlers, the Ice Box offers a smaller rink just for them! Isn’t that ‘cool’?

If you have never been to the area, Discovery Green is so awesome. It is a huge area of green right near downtown that hosts a myriad of activities and events for all of us to enjoy.
