Suddenly ideas for lyrics were piling up in my head,” he says. “Next thing I knew, I had a song called ‘It’s Over’ about divorce and separation. And now I was getting up in the middle of the night and scrambling for a pen to write things down, which has never happened to me. I finished seven or eight songs very quickly and I still wasn’t done, and it became apparent that I would eventually have a whole album of material to record.
Mr. Stewart lets us in in this CD to stories and experiences in his life. And as we are listening to lyrics that we all can relate to, like “Don’t go looking for a pot of gold, Over that miracle mile; Happiness lies in your own back yard, Utopia can take a little while.”
The album was born from a burst of inspiration that came while Rod was reviewing his life for his recent memoir. Rod rediscovered his voice as a songwriter and rekindled his gift for writing the honest, nerve-touching narratives that have been the cornerstone to the first three decades of his career.
This CD is a must own. Especially since Mr. Stewart does such a phenomenal job with the songs he wrote and produced. Take a walk through the history of a classic artist. Your ears will thank you for it!

It has a beautiful porcelain base and the tree was healthy and green and so pretty! I have had it a few months now and have willed it to bloom with water every day and the perfect spot on the patio. But, it turns out, it is not time for it to bloom so I could have told you about this months ago!
The Bonsai seems very slow growing, which I like but – even when neglected – is green and healthy looking. And when I do get it to bloom, I’ll share that picture with you too! Right now, I’ll have to show you stock photo though!
This beautiful and low maintenance Bonsai Garndenia Tree has me convinced that I can care for a plant!

I was so lucky to receive the 8″ Pouring Pot Tabletop Fountain and I have to say, it is so pretty and elegant that I have it on all the time. Forget noisy televisions. Let the gentle sounds of water accompany the daily routine!
This fountain sat in the box while I traveled and when I did open it, I was truly nervous about how hard it would be to put together. Well, I had zero to worry about. First of all, it is so lightweight. It is made of durable plastic so it is well weighted but easy to move. The assembly took about 3 minutes. I just attached the tube and placed the pot portion on top of the base.
I added distilled water to keep calcification from building up and plugged it in. I could hear the pump working and then, water… that clean, fresh sound of water flowing, delicately dancing out of the mouth of the pot to the base. It is so nice. I have it in my living room on my table and every time I plug it in, I smile.
Don’t be afraid of moving water into your house. Don’t want a tabletop fountain? Dress up your walls with affordable floor fountains! How lovely would one of these be as you have guests over for a relaxing evening?

A month ago, a movie hit the scenes that I should have told you about then. But in my craziness of showing my kids movies and having family night and travel, I put this super cute, fun and awesome family movie on my shelf and totally forgot to tell you how much we loved it.
This weekend, my daughter said, “Mom, I want to watch Charlie again and his dog! They were soooooo cute’! So I pulled out Charlie: A Toy Story
Get ready for a fun-filled adventure in this Dove “Family Approved” live-action feature as 10- year-old Caden and his best friend, Charlie, a golden retriever, set out to thwart the evil plans of the bumbling town bullies who are out to break into Caden’s Dad’s toy shop to steal his new one-of-a-kind toy invention. Filled with warmth and humor, this laugh-a-minute comedy will give you back your dreams and show you that anything is possible if you just believe in yourself!
I am totally impressed with this movie because of it’s funny and light storytelling that tackles a very serious subject. The town bullies want to steal a new toy from Caden’s dad’s toy store! So as Charlie and Caden hit the city, using skill, teamwork and friendship to stop them, we get to enjoy the great humor and warmth that makes this movie so special.
My girls laugh and squeal and root for them at every turn! And I am so glad that I remembered to share it with you guys! Thanks to my kids for remembering this wonderful movie!

I go this game last week and the first chance my girls and I had, we set it up to play! It took no time at all to create the StarWars ship. And a super cleaver idea? They use the inside of the box as the background to the ship! My kids loved that!
The basic concept is akin to the actual Angry Birds game. Set them up and knock them down! Set them up again, throw the Angry Bird balls, and knock them down . Each player gets a turn and everyone gets a turn at throwing the balls at the birds on the ship and knocking them off. My kids has a BLAST playing this and it was out in the living room for their throwing enjoyment!
And Angry Bird fan and any StarWars fan will love this game and it should be on the Family Game Night list for sure!
