Andalou Naturals Shampoo/ Conditioner Review & Giveaway

I am stuck in a rut.  A hair care product rut.  I buy the same Shampoo and Conditioner for myself and my husband every time I shop for it. And I am kind of tired of it!

I want a fresh, new scent with quality products, natural ingredients, that does what it says!

Like Andalou Naturals Full Volume Shampoo and Conditioner!

I received the Full Volume Lavender & Biotin products a few weeks ago and immediately scheduled a shower – at 1am -to start testing them out.  What a refreshing change!

I’ll admit, I am used to fruity, sweet scents from my shampoos so I was a little surprised when this lavendary, rustic, clean scent escaped the bottle.  But I LOVE it!  It smells so earthy and natural with an under tone of freshly picked lavender.  Totally unexpected, but totally exciting and new!  And the Conditioner has that same, eye opening, aroma.

Scent aside, I needed to see if it worked.  So I tested it day after day – and by that I mean rushed in a shower with three kids banging on the door screaming “Mooommeeeee!” – breathing in the wonderful smells and am happy to report that it does, in fact, work!  I have sort of thin, lays flat to my head hair.  And when I take the time to straighten it, it gets sort of oily and limpy looking within hours.

A few days into my “testing” I noticed a light bounce to my hair and that it held that volume longer throughout the day!  Plus it is soft to the touch and that oily residue, often present within hours, has not shown it icky side since!

A bonus to the Andalou Naturals line is that it is, well, natural!  They promote beauty in action, meaning that their skin care, hair care and body care products are made blending advanced Fruit Stem Cell Science with natural and fair-trade ingredients.  There is a minimum 70% certified organic content in their products.  The Shampoo and Conditioner I tried out have 71% and 72%, respectively.

Andalou Naturals is a proud partner with the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC).   They do not test their products on animals in any phase of production, from labratory to packaging.  Even their suppliers have to be compliant!

But one of my favorite things about this company is their compassion to give back.  For every Andalou.com sale and newsletter subscription, Andalou Naturals will donate $1.00 to one of their four charitable organizations.  Plus, 100 percent of Andalou’s special-edition A Force of Nature Hand Cream’s net sales – both in-store and online – goes to charity.

I LOVE that!

So take a moment and look around Andalou Naturals website!  With all of these great products, you will find one you love too!

Thanks to the wonderful people at Andalou Naturals, I get to give one of you a bottle of Andalou Naturals Shampoo and Conditioner!
