Lisa Loeb’s NEW ALBUM ‘No Fairy Tale’ is a Listener’s Delight + 3 Winner Giveaway *Expired*

Years ago I fell in love with Lisa Loeb and her runaway hit album, Tails.  Her catchy tunes sang in her clean, crisp, punk style voice drew me in and made me a fan for life.  I quickly gathered up her other albums and then patiently waited for her next one to drop.

Many.long.years.passed.

But it is here!  Lisa Loeb’s highly anticipated new album, No Fairy Tale.  And – at least in my listen to it in the car turning it up too loud because the kids are in school – musical appreciation judgement, it was well worth the wait!

Her spunky personality, creative word play and intelligent but easy to follow melodies will draw you in on the first note of No Fairy Tale and have you hitting replay on the last note of The Worst!  In fact, the songs you find in between the title and final track will create a musical journey for your fingers to tap to and your head to bob to.

There are songs for the heartbroken, the hopeful in love and songs that have you dancing and thinking through the times of your life. In this seventh album, Lisa Loeb collaborates with co-producer Chad Gilbert (of New Found Glory). They have teamed up to record a “poppy-punky-rock album” which features Loeb’s trademark sound, shaped by Gilbert’s OC punk perspective. Loeb also collaborates with indie darlings Tegan and Sara (with whom she recorded two songs—her first songwriting collaboration). Othernotable artists featured on NO FAIRY TALE include Hello Goodbye, Morgan Taylor, Maia Sharp and Marvin Etzioni.

This is a great album from start to finish and as I start my journey back into adult music that is still OK for the kids to hear in the car, I am excited to hear an old favorite with new songs!
