SAFESKIN Kid’s Antibacterial Gel Helps Prevent MRSA & $100 Walgreens Gift Card Giveaway

Kids love germs.  Or rather, germs love kids.  But running the kids to the bathroom every five minutes when they are playing on the playground, at school, or just in a crowded restaurant, to wash their hands is virtually impossible.  But we want to protect our kids.  Especially if your child has a cut or scrape because the dangers of some germs can quickly turn serious!

Thank goodness for amazing products like SAFESKIN Kid’s Antibacterial Gel!  SAFESKIN* Kids Antibacterial Gel from Kimberly-Clark Professional is a new first aid topical antibacterial gel that provides a barrier to MRSA, a highly contagious staph bacteria that can infect skin invade other parts of the body and is resistant to many antibiotics.

I am particularly aware of the places we go and what my kids touch now as all three of my kids seems to be accident prone!  With Katie learning to ride a bike without training wheels, she has constant scrapes on her knees.  And when we are on a public play area at a restaurant or park, she crawls on her knees to play.  I worry constantly that she will pick something up in those scrapes that could prove harmful.

Megan, my three year old, fell off a curb the other day and scraped her hands and knees on the concrete.  As the bright red blood indicated a skin tear, I worried about our trip to the library later that day and the floor that she would be crawling around on as she went from play station to play station.

While SKINSAFE Wraps can protect open wounds I feel there is always the need for added protection, in my opinion!  Since MRSA is highly prevalent in places where children come in close contact with one another like day care centers, playgrounds, locker rooms, classrooms, gymnasiums and sports facilities, I need to make sure my little ones are as safe as possible!

Using SAFESKIN* Kids Antibacterial Gel when caring for a wound when it happens can help protect my children from dangerous staph infections like MRSA.  Why wouldn’t I use it?  I certainly don’t want my kids dealing with such a serious illness when I can just head to my local Walgreens and get a tube for my kids!   Be sure to pick up your $1.00 Off coupon for the Gel and the Wraps too on the SAFESKIN Kids Facebook Page!

Walgreens and SAFESKIN want’s every child protected so they are generously offering (1) of my readers a chance to WIN a $100 Walgreens Gift Card to use in store or online!  Jut enter using the Rafflecopter form below!

**I received compensation from Kimberly-Clark Professional in the form of a gift card and product samples to participate in this campaign promoting the SAFESKIN* Kids Antibacterial Gel. In addition, Kimberly-Clark Professional provided the gift card I am using as the prize in my promotion.
