An American Girl: McKenna Shoots For The Stars Review & Giveaway

I had the pleasure of viewing An American Girl: McKenna Shoots for the Stars.  WOW!  I watched this with my 7 year old daughter.  We both loved it.  The story line is amazingly encouraging to young ladies.  It is a heartwarming original story about a young girl whose dream it is to compete as a world class gymnast.  That dream is in jeopardy when she begins to have trouble in school.

With the Summer Olympics fast approaching, a lot of young girls will be struck with ‘gymnastics fever’.  This is a very timely movie.  Take a look at this clip about Balancing.  You will see what I mean about being encouraging to young ladies.

This is a great film for young girls age 3 through 12.  Just in time for the Summer Games, this fun family film on Blu-ray™ Combo Pack and DVD is available only at Wal-Mart, American Girl® retail stores and americangirl.com.

The official release date of the movie is today July 3, 2012.  So, look for it in a Wal-Mart near you.
